The itch you can't scratch

Helping to prevent problem gambling is one of our primary goals.  Education and awareness programs are important aspects of prevention.  As such, it requires efforts from those who operate and/or regulate gambling (e.g., casino corporations and state-run lotteries), to use social responsible marketing and operating practices (and to help fund awareness and treatment programs).  Concerned citizens can become involved by contacting their local politicians, to express their views on gambling operations in the state.  Likewise, parents, teachers, coaches and school administrators can be on the front-lines of prevention, with this disease, by talking to kids.

If you would like to get involved or would like for us to meet with you organization to discuss problem gambling issues and ways we can work to address them, please contact us at the email addresses listed here.  We will also try our best to accommodate requests for talks to local mental health professionals, parents groups, school teachers, administrators and students, sports teams and coaches, as well as university-related functions and groups.

We are working to add more to this portion of our site.  Please keep checking back for additional information.
